Day 3 Update

Andy looks GREAT today! The nurses have really cleaned him up well and the neck brace is off! He is a little more responsive today and was even able to take a sip of water from the nurse. He also opened his eye for a brief moment. The nurses say that he is resting well.

As of this morning he is tentatively scheduled for surgery on his arm and hand this Thursday. We also received an UNCONFIRMED comment from a nurse that there is "talk" that he might be downgraded out of ICU this week.

Stay tuned and keep the prayers coming!

Know you are in our thoughts and prayers continually and we are praying for God's strength, comfort, peace and healing power to flow over you all. We are praying for Andy's complete and quick recovery. We have had Andy on the prayer list at church since the accident and know that all these prayers are being heard. God is merciful!

  5. Carol and Andy,
I fell to my knees as soon as I heard the news. So far the news seems "good". Praise God. I pray for rest for the weary as well as strength of eagles. May God grant complete healing and an abundance of blessings.
